Di antichissime origini, la storia ella famiglia Barba fonda le prime tracce al Quattrocento napoletano con Francesco Barba, abate e canonico sotto il potificato di Sisto IV. E' però nei recenti anni '60 che la famiglia Barba trasforma la propria cultura mezzadrile in un'azienda all'avanguardia. 68 ettari di terreno coltivati a vigna tutti ubicati nelle zone più vocate del territorio: Colle Morino, Casal Thaulero e Vignafranca, tutti appartenenti all'area D.O.C. Montepulciano e Trebbiano d'Abruzzo e della D.O.C.G. Colline Teramane.

Più di 50 anni di cultura vinicola e più di 500 anni di cultura mezzadrile sono quindi il valore aggiunto di questa azienda che porta sul mercato un'esperienza davvero unica.
