BUCCI's "Pongelli" Rosso Piceno DOC is a wine with a traditional character, aged for 12 months in large, untoasted Slavonian oak barrels, followed by further bottle aging. The nose opens with elegant aromas of ripe cherry, plum, wild rose, and violet, enriched with light spicy notes of black pepper and licorice, with a delicate earthy and balsamic hint. On the palate, it is harmonious, fresh, and well-balanced between acidity and soft tannins, with a long, savory finish. Perfect with pasta dishes with ragù, light meats, cured meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
