L’ azienda Ballabio nasce nel 1905 da un uomo, Angelo Ballabio, e dal suo sogno: creare uno proprio spumante classico, con fermentazione in bottiglia, di sole uve Pinot Nero, capace di confrontarsi con i migliori Champagne dell’ epoca.

In questi anni la cantina è stata trasformata in una delle realtà più all’avanguardia del territorio, la prima a specializzarsi nella produzione di solo Metodo Classico di uve Pinot Nero, esprimendo ed esaltando le caratteristiche naturali del terroir.
